An iPad for charts, an iPhone for the rest of the day
Both devices reach the same account, and neither owns it. Signing in on a new iPad or a replacement iPhone restores everything as it was, because the account is held by the platform rather than stored on a particular handset. Nothing has to be exported, backed up or transferred between them.
The larger screen is the real difference. An iPad shows more of a chart's history and more than one timeframe comfortably, which suits sitting down to review; the phone suits a quick look at an open position when the tablet is not around.
With the country at UTC+4, London opens near midday and New York in the late afternoon, so those quick looks tend to happen during the working day rather than late at night. iOS controls background refresh and low power behaviour, so opening the app directly is the reliable way to see a current picture.
